Katy Daft is an illustrator and animator. Her recent body of work features hand drawn animations and digital illustrations. Centering around themes of vulnerability and playfulness, her work is inspired by her own experiences. Daft’s work often tells stories of self acceptance, growth and positivity.

Since graduating from Kingston School of Art in 2019, Katy’s collaborative film ‘Everything’s Fine’ was nominated for the Random Acts Award (2020) and her second film ‘I Fancy U’ was nominated for the Depict! 19 award.

Her work has been exhibited in ‘Take a Break’ (Lazy Oaf x Beach London, 2018) and ‘We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Show’ (Kingston School of Art, 2019).
